About The CEO
Aloha my name is Michelle and I was born in Albuquerque, NM in November 1972 to David and Peggy Harris. I am the oldest of 4 children. My Father worked for the Federal Government and a year later we traveled to Virginia and my brother was born. Then years later we traveled to Sacramento, CA and that is where my sister and youngest brother was born. I had a good childhood as I remember. My parents were both born and raised in Hawaii and my Father would save all his vacation time and we would spend our summers in Hawaii. We had six weeks in Hawaii, so since my parents were born on different Islands we spent 3 weeks on Oahu and 3 weeks on the Big Island of Hawaii. I would say I had pretty good summers.
My Father also afforded my Mom to be a housewife and Mother. She stayed home and raised all 4 of us children, while my Father worked several jobs and afforded all of his children a Catholic education. My Sister and I graduated from St. Francis and my 2 Brothers graduated from Jesuit High School. I did very well in school, was on the honor roll, President of Student Body, excelled in all kinds of sports and all I can remember was wanting to go to college and play ball. I played competitive sports for years and was very good at a few sports.
My life completely changed my junior year, I found out I was pregnant, I was attending a catholic school and her biological Father was a student at Jesuit as well. I was faced with life altering decisions. The decision to abort or to create a Beautiful life and that is what WE chose. I say we because It takes a village to raise a child. If it wasn’t for my faith, my Family and Friends and the Huge vision I have I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to create my company Gracefully Blessed.
